The name may not ring a bell but his themes are quite popular. You may know him from PipBoy blackberry theme acclaim but he has done tons of themes ranging from Dragonball Z to a Mona Lisa. Let’s get inside his head right now.

T:You have had a variety of different themes with different types of looks. Where do you get your inspiration?

S: My inspiration basically just comes from anything, either it be an add in a magazine or a commercial showing on the t.v.
Some themes were created also by beings favored by me like the Fallout theme and DragonballZ’s Vegeta character.
And couple of themes were requests in which i had to spend at least a day on the web researching for them.  Those themes were RoxyBerry and the Firefighter.

T: Hardest device to develop for ?

S: I’d have to say for the Storm for the reason being that it has extra screen control for theme creation by the Plazmic software and if it gives me the ability to modify something I will change it.

T: What’s the hardest part about making a BlackBerry Theme?

S: The hardest part would be for me to try and keep it in a reasonable file size having to learn the hard way with the Spiderman theme which my final project was over 4mb and had to remove lots of graphics. And as you probably have realized already I like colors in my themes… and every time I try to make a simple clean theme it doesn’t
work out for me.. hehe

T: Are you a Mac or PC?

S: Had both once.. ended up with the PC. I just felt that i had more freedom with a PC.

T: Three words to describe you?

S: Like as a character?  Laid back I guess you can say. As an artist?  Creative, always trying to think of a new cool idea. And what word would you use for a person who always tries to keep everyone happy?

T: I am still looking for a good word for you. What’s in your iPod or MP3 player right now?

S: HAHAHA… First of all being Greek of course Greek music, also have some classical.. yes Beethoven and such. And the rest would be
rock and metal.  Basically my style in music is mix and very random.

T: Tell me about how you create your icons?

S: As a theme starter,  I was using random icons I found off the web.  Lately all my icons are made from Photoshop as are all my graphics.
My icon creation always has to match the theme itself as do all the rest of the graphics in the theme.

T: Last good movie you have seen?

S: There are a lot of good movies coming out lately but last one id have to say Star Trek.

T: I need to see Star Trek. Ok, worse job you have ever had?

S: Cant say worse but definitely wouldn’t do again.. A seafood clerk for a supermarket. lol

T: What would you tell inspiring theme developers who are just starting out?

S: Not to always aim for the perfect theme but for a theme that they can stare at and say “yes im proud of that”.

T: What part of the world are you in?

S: Motherland Athens, Greece.

T: What time period would you have loved to have lived in?

S: A few really… Being in the Ancient Greek years, the Renaissance or Medieval.

T: What’s one goal you want to accomplish in 2009?

S: One thing I haven’t gotten to do yet after all these years… Find a place I’m happy with and say “yes I can settle down now”.
