I am not sure why it took me so long to post this because I like the theme. But enough of me. Here is the theme developer telling me his side of the story.

iGlass theme is simple and unique theme created to make your BlackBerry stands from the crowed. The theme is very simple but yet gives that nice touch of elegance.

So what brought the inspiration to have this theme created is kind of simple but yet it falls under those moments where you tell yourself, “wow, this will look good on the BlackBerry”.  This brings another point to my life where I say:
Q) How do you know you are a BlackBerry addict? 
A) When you see something cool and your first thought is…I can make a theme like that.

While browsing the internet in search for a different visual style for my Vista system (I like my system to look good), I came across one of those sites that offer hundreds of different styles for your computer. Well as you have guessed, on the home page they had this skin, based on new Windows Seven, which looked very similar to the iGlass theme.
Although, I still can’t find the skin that beats my Apple OSX that I am using right now, I still found that design to be really striking. At that moment I decided that it’s time to make similar theme for a BlackBerry. What else the BlackBerry addict could do.

Concept looked very simple but in reality it took longer than anticipated. It took quite some time tinkering with graphics to make it look good and to stand out from the other themes. At the end, the effort paid off and the iGlass theme was born.
