Hello all my loyal readers. I am the kind of BB user who HATES to stop what they are doing just to see who texted me or emailed me. You have to stop what you are doing, get your phone, go into the message application and see what the message is.

With PeekaWho and BerryPop Up, these give you the nice pop-up, comparable to Microsoft Outlook, which tells you the name, subject and text of the message. It also lights up the screen so with a glance you can see the what and who your message is from.

I am about to give you a review of 2 of the most useful apps a blackberry can have. Let us start with:

PeekaWho

This all around is a superb app. Of course everything is not 100 % perfect like I wanted it to be on my Tour 5.0. It froze things, would have double pop ups (meaning it would pop up 2 times for the same message.) This app worked very well on my 8330! I had to say good bye to it on my Tour in general. Just did not do what I needed it to do.

So I started going on the hunt for a winner…. and I found:

BerryPop Up

This app works 100% with the Tour and I have had no issues at all.

PROS AND CONS

PeekaWho has more options all around. More so than BerryPop Up. Within PeekaWho, you can set color alerts for your incoming messages. Unlike BerryPop up, which you have to buy a separate application that is close to or the same in price to do get this option.

BerryPop Up works a LOT better on the whole than PeekaWho. If I had to recommend one to any user, I would have to go with BerryPop Up which you can find here. I would suggest getting the bundle. I like all of the options both of these together offer. BellShare is a great company who never fails in my book.

BOTTOM LINE

Buy BerryPop Up from the themes4bb app store. I guarentee you will enjnoy this app and find it uber handy.Go ahead and try the free trial of both these apps to see which one you like the most.
