So I am driving down the interstate in south carolina thinking about the potential release of the 9800 BlackBerry device. I was worried that I was losing my Blackberry love. Usually, the week before a potential MAJOR BlackBerry release, I would be bouncing off the walls waiting to get one. I would be scouring e-bay for a look of the 9800.

Something is different this time. Could it be that this device doesn’t excite me? Could it be that OS 6 has been so long coming that its passed its luster phase? Could it be that iPhone 4 or the newer Android phones have turned my eyes and subsequently others too?

Or does it excite me?

I will admit that before last week, I wasn’t. But after seeing the invitation
going out for the party hosted by RIM, I am starting to get anxious. The videos look pretty good but the question marks need to be answered.

Will the landscape of themes change? What is the browser capabilities really? How is the slider gonna work? Will it be smooth? Will there really be a hotspot on it?

I guess FINALLY we will find out. Maybe this week.
