The BlackBerry Torch is Here!

So it's been about 4 hours since I got my BlackBerry Torch. I must admit. I am falling for it. Yeah, there are some things that irritate me, it's a shame that I also received the Droid 2 to review today. Fortunately, I am having an activation issue with that so the BlackBerry Torch gets ALL my attention and rightfully so. You know one thing that has made this phone a favorite, and remember I am BlackBerry fan since day one? It's the boot time. Instead of the 7 minute boot of my 9700.

I'm getting use to the feel of the device. The keyboard was a little awkward at first but now it's fitting really good in my hand. OS6 not bad. It's still laggy a bit but still an improvement what we have had in the past.  Now all we need are themes. We need themes BAD.

RIM give us theme builder PLEASE.

Anybody else get the Torch today? Thoughts?

    I have also been waiting for some themes. I was surprised to find out that at this time there are little or no themes at all for the 9800. OS 6 must really be different. I was also wondering why RIM decided to tone down the screen a little bit.

    I've had my torch for 2 days and I am in love! :) But themes are needed ASAP!! :D

    I've had the torch since day 1, and I'm liking it. I got it as a secondary phone because I didn't want to find out my Bold 9700 was really better, but.. Touch screen AND keypad AND trackpad? It's all I ever wanted in the storm, but unfortunately I did really like SurePress.. Too bad Apple's convinced everyone that the touchscreen is better simple. You just lose functionality.
    Oh well though; I wanna make myself some themes!! RIM c'mon! I needa get rid of the bulky translucent bars on the home screen! I can't wait to see what we get to do with themes on 6.0.
