I had 200+ mms mesages saved and all of a sudden they vanished. I didn't do anything to clear them that I cant think of. I am not sure what happened. Only thing I can think of is that i recently added a 2gig memory card, but they seemed to stil lbe on there after that.

I would like to find the messages if possible and if not, prevent this from happening again.

Well, there is a MEMORY LEAK on this 4.2 OS you are running. You need to save the IMAGE or SOUND of your MMS to your Memory card.

You need to clean out your messeges, phone log, and browser everyonce in awhile so that you do not lose important messeges. Also, you can SAVE messeges if you need to.

Let us know if you need anything else or help cleaning these out.

Once the new OS 4.5 is offically released, it will solve this problem.

Also, I noticed my call log keeps getting whiped randomly. This is kind of getting on my nerves.

Aaron has hit the nail on the head...with the exception of the 4.5 being the cure all.

My wife has the 8320, with 4.5, and she was having the memory leaks.

If you use the key stroke ALT LGLG, this brings up the event log. You may want to clear that out now and then..and reboot (battery pull) your device.

You may also look at the number of themes, applicaitons and browser cache that you have stored.

After we did all that with the ALT LGLG and cleared the cache...no more memory leaks...

Yeah, it (the memory leak) is really annoying. I went completely down to 0 in available memory (can be checked by looking at options>status) and was stuck with the hourglass spinning over and over and over...

Buy a micro sd memory card...
That really won't help this issue. Good advice in general though.

When you say to hold the Alt button and LGLG i dont really understand. This erasing thing happens to my phone like 3-4 times a day and its really upsetting.
