New desktop manager missing something

has anyone noticed that the newest desktop manager has no media manager.

Didn't notice that. I don't use it anyway. It's really not needed and takes up a lot of hard drive space for what it does. Drag and drop or copy and paste. I've never understood why they included that software?

This might sound really stupid..but what exactly does the desktop mgr allow you to do. I got my first BB in March and still haven't been able to do anything with the desktop mgr because it said something about an error when I tried to install it. Well I didn't try to install it but my husband did and it wouldn't let him. Any suggestions? A friend of mine was going to get a Curve also and the store she called said they weren't selling anymore until further notice because of software problems.

What should I do? You guys all have so much knowledge that I figured someone could help me out :)<!-- google_ad_section_end -->

The DM allows you to load and delete software/themes, sync your bb with your computer and manage your pictures and music/ringtones i believe.

What type of computer do you have? If you are using a MAC the DM will not work, you need to download Pocketmac. If you have a regular PC what program are you running?

I just loaded 4.3 for my desktop and my media manager is still on it, not sure why it is missing off of yours. Have you tried reloading it?

Theres 2 versions you can dl. One says "with media manager" and the other doesnt

Right, As felicitydee (http://www.themes4bb.com/forum/17218-felicitydee/) mentioned there are two versions one with Media Manager and one without. There is also a Multi Language version. Try this link.

that explains everything! I guess I downloaded the one without the media manager. I was wondering why I couldnt add music and videos to my phone again..thought I had installed it wrong or something.
Im off to reinstall WITH the manager lol
