Turning Camera sound off?

Now I think I've looked every where in the menus and such but to no avail. Is there any way to turn the sound effect off when you take a picture on the BB 8310 or am I stuck with it?

unfortunately you are stuck with the camera sound. It was implemented with the 8100 Pearl for security purposes...

There are "tricks" so that you cannot hear it...but there will always be a sound...

Any idea where I might be able to find these tricks? If its there it's there and if I can't do anything about it it's no big deal.

I read that it won't make the sound while you're on a call.. so you can call your vm and turn on your camera...lol.

I believe I saw a good thread or two on this @ blackberryforums.com. I was hoping for a similarly easy solution. There's apparently a whole political issue involved. The tricks, which I haven't tried, are (1) plugging in the headset that came with the BB, and (2) taking a picture immediately after getting off the phone.
