8800 themes not showing

hi,

i am installing themes and it says sucessfully installed but when i go and check for the themes from options nothing is there other then the already installed ones. Any idea? can someone also guide me from where can i download the latest OS 4.5 for my 8800?

Be sure after each new theme install you pull the battery and restart the phone. Then go to options-theme to change the theme.

Keep in mind also if the theme was exported for a O.S higher than what your using on the phone the theme will install but not show up in the menus to activate

no need to pull the battery.

just press the right shift key, alt key, and the delete key the same time and will do the reset.

Your Profile indicates you have the 8120.

But you are looking for OS 4.3 for your 8800?

i had 8120 earlier, now i have a 8800 but the OS is not as good as 4.3...can anyone send me the link at xircoms@hotmail.com pleeeeaasssseeeee

Hi, i have the same problem on my 8800. after installing the theme i cant find it on the phone to change the theme. im using OS 4.2 is there any updated OS or service pack for my phone that i need to upgrade to. tks.

Are you rebooting the phone, as suggested above?

The phone re- boots automatically when its installed with th desktop manager. Is that enuf or shuld I re-boot seperately ? Is there an updated OS to th one I'm currently unsing ?

The latest os for the 8800 via Vodafone UK is 4.2.1.164 (https://www.blackberry.com/Downloads/contactFormPreload.do?code=1141938BA2C2B13F5505D7C 424EBAE5F&dl=DED26B0A7A399119F3531E4444EA1EE5)

But if you're successfully installing the theme via DM, you should see them in options>themes.
