i have a red 8310 and sometimes the call hisrtory and messages will erase themselves. i can make it stop by removing the battery and puting it back. after a while it will delete everthing again and i have to reset again. my girlfriend has an 8300 andhas never had this problem. has anyone else had this problem or know how to stop it?

I had a similar problem, only my call log would delete, then I would go into my options in the call log and set it to most recent and it stopped (the only catch is it doenst tell you what time you have a missed call, so if the last person called you back and you missed the call, you really wouldn't realize it unles a voicemail/txt was left)you can also set you call log options to show your missed calls in your message inbox, its just humbug to chk it. Btw, where would a corrupt file come from? How would I accidently get that?

My sister had the same problem with deleting of the call log and mess. She relized that when her phone memory got low it would delete those things. So she would go in and delete old themes she don't use anymore and applications she doesn't use. And she won't have the problem again untill she was close to using all her memory on the phone.

its a physical memory thing once ur memory is full it'll start removing things that are simply not that important to the phone ex:sms mms phonecall logs etc. etc. buy a SD card
