Welcome and Congrats!

I would check out this section...

Themes4BB.com | Free BlackBerry Themes - Multimedia For Your BlackBerry (http://www.themes4bb.com/forum/#blackberry-must-have-applications)

If you are a business type user there are certian types of applications...if you are the casual texter..there are certain apps...

If you like to text to friends on Yahoo/Aim/Google...I would try JIVETALK...Its not free...but it is worth the price...

of course..you need to theme the Curve once you get it... we have 1000's of free themes..ringtones and wallpapers...

I know I am up late as my screen tells me but wanted to say welcome to the homestead called Themes4bb.
The greatest themes, information any new person could ask for is here. Take a look around for a while. I found most of the things I have on my curve I did from here, there are so many things that will interest you so it is hard to say for sure what to get first. The launcher for this place is good to have to start with. Yahoo Go is something I use all the time.
I am a theme junkie as most know here..lol
But follow the links Steven gave and explore.
