Simulator Question

I'm guessing I'm just not searching right, so I'm sorry if this has been answered. My question is, to make Plazmic run, you apparently have to have the 8100 simulator installed. My question is this. I'm downloading the AT&T 8300 simulator right now. Can I just go ahead and install this, and use it to preview my themes? Do I have to delete the 8100 simulator? CAN I delete the 8100 simulator? I just don't want to mess up what took me so long (with plenty of hours from the awesome people here!) to get working. Thanks for the help! :)
