Curve 8310 with mac?

I just recently bought a Curve 8310 with at&t and i downloaded 2 themes from here. Im loving the phone by the way. Yet when i try the installation disk on my macbook it comes up with nothing. Is it compatible? Or would i have to use my desktop at home, im away at school thats why i only have my mac. Also i know im a noob haha but how do i find the desktop manager?
