Ok...making icons for BlackBerry devices is a little more than just resizing an image.

You must know what the proper image size is and for what type of theme.

Each device has a different icon size based upon the type of theme it will be used for.

For example... the default size for an icon for the 8100 is 48x36. For the dialog boxes it is 39x41 for the Phone icons its 50x50.

Dimension icons are 60x55.

Best place to get the correct information on icon sizes would be fromthe HOW TO GUIDE located under HELP on the Themebuilder software.

Is it possible to make icons for 3rd party apps such as Google Maps or Opera Mini?

I have a couple different themes I like on my pearl but the icons for Google Maps and Opera Mini don't match the overall look of the other icons.

No, it is not possible..sorry :( Plazmic only lets you change the default apps icons.

You have discovered one of the many reason not to venture too far off with icons in a theme. None of the 3rd party app icons will ever match or look consistant if you do. The raticle icon theme(s) are perfect for the user who does not use any 3rd party apps. Then everything fits into place and works very well.

If your a person who has tons of 3rd party apps then theme(s) with default icons are just for you.
