What's up everyone.
Ok here's the story.
Installed D/M right from the CD I got in the box (brand new) with my new 8110 Pearl from Rogers. Took a while but it said it was installed successfully and restarted my computer. The drivers were installed for the phone, D/M found my phone, I installed my themes, PacMan and soft reset with no issues but that's where it stopped.
I tried using Media Manager and a window kept poping up saying "the Certificate file is missing or corrupted please reinstall it."
- try again, same thing. Restarted the computer, tried again and same thing.
- Tried repairing the program, restarted, tried Media Manager again with the same message
- Unistalled the program completely, installed it again and during the instal it said to shut my anti virus off, clicked ok, program continued, installed successfully, restarted computer, tried Media Manager, same message.
I talked with a buddy today and he said apparently it was a problem with a lot of people having corrupted cd's. So I downloaded the program right from the Blackberry site, shut my firewall and anti virus off (this from the supposed tech guy from Rogers), installed, restarted, tried it again with the same message.
Yeah I'm MORE THEN A LITTLE PISSED NOW!!! WTF is going on here, I can't figure out, does anyone have any ideas or has anyone had this issue? I want to be able to upload/download pictures, video's and ringtones. I was told D/M 4.2 won't work with my phone because my OS is 4.3 and that I can't do anything to upload/download things without Media Manager. Can anyone confirm deny this?
Please help cause I'm out of ideas.
