I can't run the Desktop manager to add themes I downloaded...I keep getting an error saying that my browser can't be loaded because this file net.rim.blackberry.xml can't be found. I think I may have deleted something I wasn't suppose to while trying to unlock the Vendor themes (I wasn't successful). Can anyone tell me what to do to right what I did wrong??

Download the latest OS for your device from the blackberry website. Install it on your PC and try running the desktop manager it will update your blackberry.
There are perfect directions to do this here:

Read and Re-Read this a few times to make sure you understand it than follow it and you should be all set.

Thanks B1gg13 I was able to fix the problem but still unable to unlock the Vendor themes. I follow the directions but had trouble saving the changes. No matter what I did Vista would not allow the changes to be saved. I guess I will just have to stick to the Vendor theme provided by AT&T.

Yeah that happens to some people with Vista. what you need to do is save it to your desktop, but it will most likely save as a txt file not as the alx file it should be.
So you need to turn on the option to see file extensions, in folder options, so you can change .txt to .alx you can than move it to the folder it should be.
I can write up how to do it but to be honest, if you are going to be downloading themes from here you will not want to have all those themes on your blackberry as you will run out of memory fast. BB's have a very limited amount of memory as it is and you do not want to use it all up with all those themes.

Thanks again B1gg13. I think I wanted to unlock them more out of curiosity to see what they look like. I guess I will pass on them so I won't have to go through the trouble of deleting them later.
