Help making Plazmic "L" and Bottom Dock

This may be an embarassing question, but how do I make a bottom dock Zen or an "L" theme that work correctly? I can make a custom theme with the icons in the correct place, but to scroll to them, I have to go up or down instead of left or right. Is there a way to move the Zen theme to a bottom dock and scroll right or left? I still don't get the extra "alignment buttons" on the far right of the plazmic creator...
