Yeah I am on downloading JDK Java devolpers kit.....man there is a lot of stuff to do before I can make an ugly first theme!!!! LOL

For what's it's worth, once you get everything installed there is no need to go through the pain again as the CDK get updated you will now just be able to install the newer version without all the other software.

Ok now its gettin crazy...and I am no idiot...I see a 4.2.1 version and a 4.3 version of the JDE....so I donwloaded the 4.3.....always backwards compatabile right?? Well after I downlaoded the Java development tools.....which it said I had to have and installed the Blackberry JDE 4.3 I thought I was almost done...so I went to onstall Plazmic and it still says I need Blackberry JDE 4.2.....so.....do I really need the 4.2.2 and the 4.3 wont work??? Then as I said before...I cant even find a 4.2.2!!

There is no Blackberry JDE 4.2.2 on the BB site ...its either 4.3 which is what I have installed and the plazmic still wants 4.2.0 or you can download 4.2, 4.2.1

I am having issues!!!!

Look for steveninstl's post about plazmic installation, Bull. He's got all the files on our server so they're easy to find without the hassle.

I think I have read that but I will read again....I have installed Java devoplmet that it said I needed and the BB JDE 4.3 and this thing is pissin me off....LOL

Yeah on his post it just takes you to the pages that I have been at...and there is no 4.2.2 to download.....here is the link...am I missing something?

Lets tell ya all what I have did so far....

I have installed the Jave Devolpment tools that it said I needed.....no problem there...not that I can see that is...

I have installed Blackberry JDE 4.3

And I have downloaded Plazmic 4.2.2 but when I try to install it says I need Blackberry JDE 4.2.0

So.....should I download the 4.2.0 version of the Blackberry JDE? Is the 4.3 not good enough...LOL!!
