I meant the 8300's I have a curve...so I have my first one done.....I think its ok for a first one...simple BMW theme with my model of Beamer on it...all I have the option to export is 4.2.2

I assume that is ok..?

Yes, if that is your only option then it is fine to use...just always use the lowest one available and you will be ok :)

ok now I want to take screens shots so I can post and get feedback....lord knows I need it...LOL

I have the bbscreenshooter.exe that Seven posted I think and have it working but it is asking me a password for my BB....I dont know of any that I have entered.....

Does anyone know what this is all about?

I have never used the bb screenshot program..I have always used mwsnap and its free.

I use the prtscrn button while in plazmic. It captures whatever is on your monitor. Quick and easy method:

In the themebuilder, make sure the viewer is diaplaying the screen you wan to show (Home, Icon, Menu, Incoming call, Locked).

Press "prtscrn" on your keyboard.

In your image program (Gimp, Photoshop, MSPaint, etc) open a new image that is the same dimensions as your device screen (240x260 or 320x240).

Click EDIT>PASTE and the screenshot from plazmic will appear (usually you'll be looking at the upper-left corner, so you probably won't see much).

Manuver the frame or picture around (depending on your graphic program) until the device screen displaying your theme is centered like you want it.

Save the image.

Repeat for each screen you want to display by clicking "prtscrn" in the themebuilder, after you make it display the proper screen.

That's just how I do it, the other ways may be easier, I don't know. I just like using the thembuilder for screenshots, so my personal info (like messages in the menu screen or my phone number on the lock screen) doesn't show up for the world to see. Hope that helps.

If you use mwsnap your personal messages won't appear...its actual screenshots of the theme in the themebuilder ;)
