One of my favorite people has finally let me interview her.~ She has reviewed alot of our themes and always been a pleasure to work with so~ had to try and find out the story behind the mask. She is one of the busiest people I know. She seems to always be working along with three kids at home. Enter Vicky from Berry Review.

Are you a Mac or PC?
V: Definitely Mac (although I have a PC at home mainly for my BlackBerry)

One guilty pleasure you have?

V:I hate to admit it, but all ‘The Real Housewives shows…. Orange County, New York, Atlanta’. I just love the drama [Only registered and activated users can see links]

WHat’s in your Ipod or MP3 player right now?
V: My music tastes are very eclectic. Lots of 80s music I loved growing up; The Cure, the Cult…anything by The Frey and Lady GaGa.

What do you do at Berry Review?
V: I’m a contributing writer there but because I am a theme junkie at heart, I sort of became the resident theme reviewer. I’m working on changing that though [Only registered and activated users can see links]

What are your thoughts on the economic situation?
V: Like everyone else, I’m unhappy about it…but I do have hopes that things will turn around.

Last good movie you have seen?
V: “Taken” with Liam Neeson - very good.

Worse job you have ever had?
V: Waitress at a banquet hall…people actually gave me 10 cent tips. I lasted one day.

What would you tell inspiring theme developers who are just starting out?
V: Well it’s all just opinion really but I would tell them to think out of the box while keeping it clean. By that I mean, keep a theme uncomplicated. I think that’s general advice for any kind of designing. I’ve worked in graphic design/advertising for about 20 years as an account manager and the best ideas (that the client ended up loving) were always creative, yet not overdone.

What part of the country are you in?
V: New England

What time period would you have loved to have lived in?
V: None…I’m happy living in this time.

What’s your ideal vacation?
V: I’ve been fortunate to have traveled a lot in my life so I’ve already had many ideal vacations. Something relaxing, yet adventurous. I’ve never been to India so I’d probably love to do that someday.

Whats one goal you want to accomplish in 2009?
V: I’ve got lots of personal goals but definitely one I always aspire to do is lose weight! :-))

What Blackberry are you rocking these days?

V: The Bold. I love my Bold.

Thanks for dropping by Vicky. You are the best.
