Slow/Laggy Theme

Hi, I just made my first theme and I noticed that it is somewhat laggy, especially for the BB messanger. The messages seem to ne transmitting a bit slower then usual. I had changed my theme on my phone to check if it was the connection or the theme and it looks like it is my theme. Does anyone know why this might happen?
