I want to find software so that I can change the color of the led light. Does anyone know where I can find this?

I would definitely choose the pearl 2. The main reason I chose that over the Curve was the size. I have small hands so it is easier for me to hold, etc. I too thought I would hate the smart type...but now that I'm used to it, I love it and I can actually text faster.

You can watch movies and video clips on the 8100 Pearl. I've been watching them on mine for a year now. I used Media Coder to convert the files. But now you can use the media manager to convert them for you. Just select the option "copy for optimal playback" and it should do the trick. Hope this is helpful.

Also to comment on the suretype, I love it. I find that its pretty rare that I make mistakes and it learns very well. I've tried qwerty before and it was ok, but I found the buttons are too small.

Hope someone finds this useful.

I'm also waiting for the pearl 2, gps included, wifi, video as well...all these i would use so i see it as a improvement over the 8100 pearl...plus my pearl is beat up i have to tape the back cover to my battery so it doesn"t fall off

I have the 8130 from Alltel and I LOVE it!
I'm a first time BB owner, so I haven't had the curve to compare it to, but the Pearl 2 is wonderful, in my opinion.
I did have to turn off the SureType and switch to the multitap typing, though.
