Problems Deleting 3rd Party Apps.

I just got a bbcurve 8310 and was so excited to get new games that I downloaded a bunch for free. But they all don't work and I want to get as much free space as possible. I have a mac, but can get access to a pc if I have to. I want to delete some apps and tried doing it on my bb, but when i go to options, advanced, apps - the applications aren't listed. Then I tried deleting it from my mac, and it worked for only one. I also tried from a pc and when i used the desktop software, it wouldn't let me get to the list of apps in my phone. I was wondering if there is anything to do other than reset my entire bb.:34:
