Personally i like the curve better than the pearl for some reason pearls just look like a regular phone but thats just my opinion.

i just got my curve 8310 last week. and i absolutely love it. one thing you must realize and that is using a blackberry is nothing like using any other smart phone or cell phone out there. once you get used to it thought it just seems right. lol
also my friend has a pearl.. the one draw back to the pearl is no qwerty keyboard.

I got a Curve from Newegg for $0.01 and I couldn't be happier. I've had a Palm Pilot and different media phones, and it's so nice to have all of that in one device. plus I love the GPS, even without the Tele-Nav subscription.

I got the 8310, totally tickled with it! GPS is great with yahoomaps. Beats the crap out of my V3! Thank you RIM!

...same here!!! Although I loved my slvr L7, my wife and I are like two BB addicts around the house all night. I believe we haven't even touched the surface yet of the things our 8310's will do...lol I am on here (at work...lol) every day trying to learn some thing new.

I played with both the Google maps and the one that comes with the 8310 for about 5 minutes.... Cost me $18... That includes a googlemaps download as well... I feel sore back there...

I had a Treo 650. I tried the Pearl and just hated it. I have the Curve now. It is taking some getting used too and it does alot! I do really miss my Treo though. Everything on the curve is so Blah, black & white. The e-mails also are not in "chat mode" like the Treo. The Treo also had designated buttons for calendar, msgs and a touch screen! The problem I have is that T-Mobile isn't very good with supporting an unlocked device. I finally caved in & decided to go with one of their phones. Curve was the elite option. I am trying to find things to spruce up the "fun" side of the curve....which is what brought me to this site. Hope my 2 cents helps.
