Florida Gators Theme ZIP not working

Well I performed a battery pull I still do not see my mizzou theme? Do I need a theme reader or something else?

Ok..since you are posting in the 8100 theme thread, I hope youo did not try to install a 8100 theme on your 8310 device.

Thats exactly what I have done!

Hmmm will it hurt anything or should I go and try to find it and delete the 8100 one...hoping I can even find it!

Worked like a champ..even without a battery pull once I got the right theme for the right model...just a good lesson for a newbie that is salivating over cool stuff...slow down and pay attention to what you are doing!!!

Get it off your phone asap and hopefully your phone will not be a brick for you.
Only install themes designed for the 8300.

If its not showing up in your list of themes go to
options
advanced
applications
and find it in that list of apps and delete it. this will also require a reboot of your phone.

Well everything is working now....I found it and tried to delete but it did not look like it dleted..I am doing a hard reset now to see if it goes away in the applications list

Well well...just in case someone else runs into this...I have the Mizzou theme(the right one) and when I went to delete I was highlighting the delete button and it would go back just like I had highlighted the cancel button....so on a chance I just choose cancel instead of delete and voilla.....it deleted it.....so they are backwards on the select list.

Well I am glad everything worked out ok for you. Installing a theme that is not designed for you phone's OS has been known to cause some pretty big problems...sounds like you got lucky :)
