Creativity cant be taught, you gotta have the inspiration and the idea. Technique is different. There are HUNDREDS of tutorials out there that can show you how to get what you want.

I've been playing around with it to create one for the Blackberry I'm getting Friday (8310). I do believe there is a thread here about downloading and getting it up. It is pretty intuitve once you've got the program running. You create a new theme, tell it what device it is for, type of theme (Zen, today, etc), and away you go.

There are several levels of customization it offers. It is mostly a drag-in-drop operation. Once you've fiddled with it for awhile and have a theme you want to use goto File->Export

This'll bring up a dialouge box that will ask a few things: JAD or AJX, the name ou want to use, target OS version, hanheld type (8800, 8300, 8100), and the path you want it to save to.

From what little I've been toying with it, I have created an anime (Bleach) theme in under 30 minutes. As stated above, nearly all images are customizable and you have loads of fonts/fontcolors for the text. You need simply download the images you want, or make them yourself.

The only issue I run into from time to time are the fonts used. Sometimes their size is larger than 60 k and it won't export. Just have to keep testing to find out which fonts Plazmic likes as well as dislikes.
