My husband just paid $250 for his from Tmo, and that was with our customer discount..nuts huh. But still I'd pay the same to get a new bb..hell I paid $350 for my sidekick 2 and 3 when they first came out lol. :faint2::faint2:

I'm counting the days till the new pearl 2 is released...sad part is I don't know what day I'm counting to lol since I have no idea what the actual release date is.

Ok baby is home. Is it possible to get a headache from changing phones...lol..yes.
Before you do what I did, make sure that you are due for and upgrade or close to it. If not you are going to have to pay the full $399 minus $75. :hurt:. After recovering from that hit in the gut we talked some more and if I gave the phone to a family memeber it woudl bring down the price and and a mail in rebate of $100. So when that gets back to me it comes out to with taxes $115.
So basicly have a Pearl incase something happens to Curve.

Seems I have to reload some of the application that were on the Pearl to the Curve, not so bad. What puzzled me was the emails, I had to go back through the email wizzard to include my bb email. So through my phone I sent each a test email to see that they were running correctly...they are.

Also there are allot more things on the Curve then I expected, mostly stuff to shop for the phone.

i am at this moment trying to figure out how to get rid of those shop icons, they drive me crazy when i put new themes on!

at&t has these "shop tunes, shop themes, shop graphics" icons. cant find them in the apps list or anywhere else. all you can do is hide them... & there are like 10 icons.. & thats on top of the other 10'ish i already hide.

Ohhh...I am with tmo and we don't have that..thank goodness. I am however stuck with facebook which I have no use for.

I just hide every one of those, that is what I do when I loaded new themes.....but there was more then I thought..lol...still going at it...lol:dance:

Congrats on the new berry!! I know what you mean about the price, it hurts the pockets thats for sure...that's why I order online, they ship me the phone and I have an additional 30-45 days to pay for it which is awesome!!! GO TMO!! lol

I look at it this way..I have a back up phone now. That was the only way for ME to get the price down or wait until Sept...(not)
But I am getting into it slowly...and seeing what themes to get on it..I may have to do a few requests from my 8100 to the 8310...lol
