I use the Soft Reset program when I decide to delete themes or programs that I don't use right from the phone.

Also, I do it every morning before I leave for work just to clean up any system stuff. I guess I still have a little Treo in me.

The power button just shuts it on and off, doesn't reset the system.

Is there a soft reset for the 8130 and if so how do I do this?

I switched from the blackberry pearl 8120 to the 8100 just because I wanted my ball to change colors but I'm having a problem I inserted my media card but my songs and pictures don't show up in media and everytime I download themes I don't see them in my phone.Please help. I'm starting to regret buying the 8100

Everytime you take out your media card, or add new stuff to it, I have learned that a battery reboot helps. Take the battery out for a minute and then put it back in and reboot your phone. With themes, you have to reboot your phone to complete the theme installation process. This bothered me with my 8100 at first until I realized what was going on. Don't regret buying the phone! The Pearl 8100 is fantastic! I love mine!:47:

we have the same phone it appears but I was told there was no soft reset for my 8130....how do you do it?

But....
Does anyone have the problem of their pearl erasing messages on its own or changing programs, etc. Trying to figure out if it's the phone or something with the service??

Mine does that sometimes....I just pull the battery and it stops.

I have a 8130 also and I think I got the soft reset from berryreview.com. It so much better then taken ur battery out everytime.

Thanks so much guys. I just found out about Google Maps. Is Soft Reset supposed to ask you to delete a module when you first run it?

Hi

BlackberryAlerts is a great program, it may not color the trackball but the LED can be set for different colors.

Mine is:-
RED for missed calls
Green = unread Emails
Purple = unread SMS/MMS
Cyan = voicemail

It can do a lot more to
