application error when using themes

Good Morning, BTW I love all the themes, they look fantastic.
but with my current Pearl 8100 V 4.2.1.109 (platform 2.3.0.85) I get application errors if I use a theme other than the ones preloaded. I'm on the Rogers network (Canada). What happens is I will set a theme and the phone will load it and display it correctly. Then is I perform a function like check my mail. It will reset. Or I'll check my phone and it will have Application error on the screen. then it resets.

Any advise on how to enable me to use Themes without these problems.

That is odd.
You do have the most current OS.
I'm using the same model and am using the same OS but have never experienced any difficulties like that.
I'll have to look to my more technically inclined mods/admin to address this.

Well I cleaned out all my DL themes and it is still resetting. So it does not appear to be a Theme issue. I just talked to Rogers and they appear to be aware of the problem. Well the help desk certainly had a few Ideas. I'm reloading software now and the next step will be to replace the battery

Are you using BES or BIS? When using BES and if there are I.T Policies set that will also cause those issues.

Just a question but did you do a battery pull after you installed new theme? When I first started downloading themes I never did a battery pull and eventually my bb locked up.
