Yes you can stop the blinking, the last way that sierrasmom posted is the way I do it and I have no problem turning off the light.

TanBucsFan, the thing is that I couldn't find what Sierrasmom suggested, the "turn Repeat Notification", can you tell me where to find it?

click your bb menu button (left of trackball)
click on profile icon
scroll down to advanced
click on active profile
now you will have to go under every email address that is being sent to your bb and change the repeat notification...and make sure you do it twice on each screen...the out of holster option and in holster option.

does anyone know if u can change the led light settings besides using beamberry which cost money after 7 days...

is there a way to change the color of the led when you recieve messages?? sorry if someone asked new to the bb community tryin to learn as i go.

There are a few software programs you can buy to customize that led, but I don't think any of them let's you choose the color for incomming messages. The one I'm thinking of changes the color based on your signal strength.
