I am trying to figure out a way to open certain attachments when I get them in email. It works for PDF's but anything for video's or word docs? can that be done?

I don't know how important viewing attachments is to you, but Beamberry (http://www.beamberry.com/)is available.
There is a 10 day free trial but after that:
BeamBerry Service - $49.99 USD/year*.
* This is a one time non-recurring charge. BeamBerry service has to be manually renewed at the conclusion of your annual subscription.

It a one time fee if that makes a difference. It is a lot of money for an app...especially if its not that important for you.

The info on their site is a little misleading at first read...it does say $49.99/yr, but then down below it says it is a one time non-recurring charge.

I can open up Word and Xcel docs on my 8830 from Sprint without any third party app viewers. I can't edit them, but normally don't need this option (one of the reason i left the PPC brand).
