i downloaded & installed the new theme (today+) from the blackberry website on my 8320 & then the next day after recieving a MMS message i had a white screen that said [App Error 523]. So while i had my curve plugged in on my pc i did the battery pull & while the curve was rebooting i started the desktop manager clicked on application loader & after countless hours of trying to figure out what application was causing this i uninstalled the today+ theme & my curve rebooted again back to normal.
I installed the today+ theme again so far so good my phone is running like it was before. I posted this just in case anybody had smilar problems after installing the today+ theme. Even though i'm a newbie here you'll be seeing some of my own themes in the upcoming week or so. (i'm still learning more about themes creations for the blackberry):typing:

Hey everyone I'm new here.
I had the same error off of a new pearl. Tmo told me it was my os system & to re download it. After hours of "no help" from the customer service rep. I discovered it was my theme. It was the pink theme I download from rim. I was so mad I couldn't use my pearl for 3 days because I couldn't figure it out. *i'm still a noobie*

One thing to consider is memory. Adding themes takes up memory. If you already were low on memory due to message log, pictures, themes, ringtones, etc. I have seen problems arise when the memory reaches zero.
Most times it starts to delete messages to free up memory. But this could have been another side effect of low memory.

I agree to an extent, it's not a very large theme but with the given problems and memory leak this is extremely possible.

Thanks I had this problem with my 8310 bb curve, AT&T told me to return it nothing they could do to restore it. Now I know what to do if it happens again.
