I got tired quite some time ago of carrying around 2 devices (i.e. Palm & Cell) and so began my love affair with the "All In One" devices.

I have had many over the years and utilize them to their fullest extent.

i use my blackberry for everything.. i dont even have to get on my pc anymore unless its to play my sims2 games lol

Yes, I do use it for a phone. However I have noticed since I got it my minutes usage has gone WAAAAY down but I am always on it. LOL.

Believe it or not, but I have a new Pearl without a data plan. No email or web, not OTA downloads. MAkes a nice phone, and a passable iPod alternative and simple games device, relying heavily on desktop software. Also my contacts have never been better organised.

I'm new to Blackberry and really love the device. I use it as a phone and text messenger. It has also replaced my mp3 player and pda. I like the fact that I can have most everything in one device. I don't use the camera and am not YET using it for web or e-mail.

Believe it or not, but I have a new Pearl without a data plan.

I also have no Blackberry plan, but I use the Opera Mini und Gmail because I can use the Internet connection for very less money. So I really like to check my eMails from time to time and this is why there is no need for me to have a Blackberry Plan.

I use it as everything. Organizer, Mp3 player(when i dont feel like using my ipod), as a phone, camera n etc. Paid too much money for my BB to just use it as one thing.

And when i'm not around a wifi network for my laptop, i just hook up the blackberry to the pc and surf the net when working on big projects.

i'm using it as phone and organizer. thanks to our BES at work i don't have to sync my data anymore. everything ota. i love it :banana:
