Don't know if anyone knows this about their phone, but I was told this about my device by someone while I was trying to trouble shoot it. If you put a password on your phone, and you let someone see it and they try to put the password in, they only get so many tries to do so as stated when u originally set the password up. If they try the alloted amount of tries and fail your handheld will be wiped out completely of everything stored on it and there is no way of retreiving the information back. So word of the wise if u let alot of people see you phone do not put a password on it.
