One more question guys, is there a quick button to exit an application completely? Would that button be the Escape button? I mean completely as in it's no longer running in the background (when you hit end).

I'm not fluent on the 83XX's but I beleive the only way to completely end and exit a program is by hitting menu > close.
A lot of people just hit the red phone (hang up) button not realizing their prrogram is still running and slowing the bb down and draining battery.

Yes it is true. The best way is to hit Menu button -> Close. It also saves you time by having to hit the escape button numerous times!

Is there a way to see all programs that are running?

click alt (bottom left) and back (right of the trackball)

hold ALT and scroll the trackball to see whats running. Most bb's will run 5 apps at all times, HOME, PHONE, BROWSER, MESSENGER, and MESSAGES. These cant be closed.

Yes I learned that the hard way and did not realize I had things running in the background so I make sure I close out completely, and if I dont remember I will look up like Soarin and Synik have told you to do.

wow, I'm glad I asked about that because I had a TON of things running. I always thought hitting the END button would exit. Thanks!!!
