Maintenance tips?

I tried doing a search but came up with nothing. Maybe it would be a good idea to have a sticky thread on maintenance tips on the BB. Could be anything --just like how we maintain our PC/laptops: clearing temporary files, cookies, etc. Could be physical or internal.. any suggestions is greatly appreciated.
