Question on media card vs device memory

I recently got a 2gb card for my 8310 and just transferred pics, ringtones, videos, and mucis to the card. However, when viewing the ringtones on the 8310 it shows up twice. Under the properties one is saved in the device and the other on the media card. I tried playing the ringtones assigned to the device and they won't play but when I play the ringtone assigned to the card it plays. Maybe I did something wrong on the media manager when I transferred it from the device to the card? I can't event delete the ringtones from my list.
