Ringtone nightmares

I'm new to the blackberry and love it but need to do something about the few lame ringtones that mine has... I've got the 7100i since I need the Nextel radio. Are there any free resources to convert mp3 files to a polyphonic file so I can use some of my music library for ringtones?
