I like the zen almost the best, but the one with the icons across the bottom is much better. I guess it depends on the background you have or want to use

I use Today only. I have an average of 5-7 meetings a day therefore I want to see where I have to go next without any clicks.

What I would love to have: Calendar allowing 5 entries on the start screen and the rest as icons.

Maybe there will be more preferences in a further update of Theme Builder. Being able to choose the things that appear on Today screen would be great, too.

I am in complete agreement with Susanne. I would love to see more function in the Today styled themes, and a larger calendar preview would make my life a lot easier at work, or something that would allow me to show Tasks on the home screen.

I prefer the icon themes just for ease of useability. but i guess it all depends on the theme. The Zen themes are nice as well but if I had to stick with one theme it would be the Icons.

Then again I do have several Zen styles that i love as well....like i said...it all depends on the theme.

Don't get me wrong. I do like a lot of the Zen themes out there. I have the same problem as Susanne. I have millions of meetings every day and because of that it makes more sense to use a Today style theme, I just want to be able to see more of my meetings without having to look at the calendar.

I think its a personal preference........ You can SEE more of the theme if its a Zen style because of the icons being off to one side instead of across the whole screen. I can only speak for myself and if I chose a theme because I like the pics, then I want to see them and not have the icons covering them.... There may be other reasons-Im sure there is but that's my reason!!! I wondered it at first too and have just become comfortable w it......Good luck building, its a bit of work (I tried) Lisa

I like zen because I like to see the home screen picture, I don't have many appointments, I usually just put an alert in my calendar that goes off when I have something important going on. I use almost all of the functions of my blackberry, but not usually every day I mostly use the messages, browser, options, media, and I use the soft reset but I don't like having that on the home screen anyway. I can see how today and icon styles can be more functional but for me I like how zen looks and its perfect for my needs.

I think the Zen theme is just cleaner.....but what I REALLY want is the L theme--are you planning to do that for the 81xx?

The zen themes are better looking because they let you see more of your wallpaper. And if you use keyboard shortcuts you don't need all your icons in your face
