HOW-TO transfer contacts yourself.

Well i got this BB and the store could not transfer the contacts from my chocolate phone to the BB. The BB might be damaged, idk, but it didnt work.

So this is how I changed the contacts over, with verizon.

I did the online backup of your contacts for free thru vzw website and vcast on the phone.

I made a blank template for a .csv file in outlook

i copied and pasted the list online after i hit print to make it more texty

i moved the right numbers to the right spots in the columns of the .csv in excel

then i loaded that csv to my outlook

then thru intellisync i pulled the contacts from outlook to the BB.

done.


there might be a better way, but thats the way i got it done :)
