i have searched through all the icons on the wallpaper and it is not there...is it hidden by something?

as far as pilling your battery to reset it, there is a program called "soft reset" that does the same thing without the hassle of the battery pull- I think its at-geekandproud for free, Ive got it on my 8300, and wifes 8100-pretty handy
