Hi to all,
<o:p> </o:p>
I’m a new user in the Blackberry world, so some of my questions may seem a little bit obvious for you guys J
<o:p> </o:p>
1 – Saved SMS messages – There is a option to saved the received SMS messages, but where does it put them? The device doesn’t ask me any place or folder!
How can I export it to the PC?
<o:p> </o:p>
2 – Coming from a Nokia, when in keyboard lock mode, even with the black screen, it shows the clock, the number of missed calls and the number of received SMS. Can the BB do that?
<o:p> </o:p>
3 – APP error 523 – It seems it’s a very common error with the Java engine!
I have the latest Desktop Manager (4.2.2.14). What can I do to resolve these cyclical freezes that the BB suffers?
<o:p> </o:p>
4 – I cannot load any application or theme to the BB. The Desktop Manager gives these errors:
<o:p> </o:p>
This message in the software:
The Blackberry Desktop software does not have Blackberry device software for the device you have connected to the computer. Contact your wireless service provider or system administrator.
<o:p> </o:p>
And when I try to load a alx file:
No additional applications designed for your device were found.
<o:p> </o:p>
I have installed the BB Desktop Manager software that was supplied with the device, and it’s installed in my home PC, so no problems with administrator rights.
<o:p> </o:p>
The BB it’s a Curve 8310 with a Vodafone SIM card.
<o:p> </o:p>
Sorry for the long text, but I have the device only for 2 days and I’m eager to explore all the potential
Thanks and best regards to all
