Rington cut short?

I've been tryin to create my own ringtones using audacity. I can get them imported to my BB pearl and select them as the ring. However when I get a call it only plays a couple of seconds of the selected clip. Any ideas how to fix?:frusty:

You have to keep them under 30 seconds and under 96 Kbps, otherwise the file will be too big. Try an online ringtone maker at http://makeownringtone.com It's easier than Audacity.

I've also created many ringtone mp3's with audacity at different bitrates and seems like 15 secs is the limit - is it actually a file size limit and do you know what that file size is?
