are any of you having battery issues using the WIFI often? From my personal experience, it drains the battery worse than any other aspect of the phone...

Another reason why your battery drains really fast, is when you are always in an area where you don't get good network coverage. Searching for network is like having a you crank up your ignition of your car to get it to start... ouch!

I tried to do bring up the list of running applications and when I do it always has blackberry messenger and push to talk there. But I've never opened those programs before and when I go into them I click close but it still shows up. Why??

Some apps, like push to talk, bbm, etc. run all the time. Cause the Canuckleheads at Rim say so.

Another thing not a lot of people do with lithium batteries...when you get a new on put it in the the phone (or other electronic) and let the remaining power drain. Once it is completely dead charge the phone until it is 100% charged. Then take it off the charger and use it until it is completely dead again. Charge it to 100% charged. You should do this 3 full times. This will help keep the cells functional and won't create and artificial ceiling this eliminating some of your usable battery. Then I would do it once every 4-5 times I charge my phone I let it die.

This will help you get the best battery life. I have done this with all my batteries and always had good luck.

sometimes the more toys you have the more the battery is used. Although some people don't notice a blank background on your computer makes it run better. maybe not by much but still a little.
