What do you look for in a theme, or what do you base your download upon?

There is nothing worse than a theme where you cant see anything or has bad icons that you cant understand!

I actually look at the icons bar the most, but font is very important as well.

I look for a CLEAN layout and design. There's nothing I hate worse than a great wallpaper and idea but a sloppy layout.

For me it has to be a bundle of things: Clarity is very important, the colors have to fit the cursors color and the rest of the theme, the icons have to fit the "feeling" of the theme.

What I mean: a theme is light green and pink and then you discover that the cursors color hasn't been changed and ist still blue. For me, the theme is ruined in this moment.

OR it is a girly theme, but the icons used are very strong, like you would use it in a theme about cars.

I am a little bit picky about this, because it's part of my job to see the details.

Function over form, no doubt. If I can't look at an icon and immediately tell what it does, or can't read a font easily, its a deal breaker for me.
