CodyzMom:

I had been going back and forth whether or not to do it since January and I finally was just like ahhh! If I can't get something outof my mind, I end up giving in.

No, my phone as no scratches on it before I sent it off. There were some scuffs on the rubber sides, but the thick coating of paint either covered it up or sanded them out.

I used my same blackberry when the pink one was off being painted. I had bought another one off ebay to send away and now I am selling my original gold one on ebay.

I have not gotten a body shield or best skins ever to protect it yet, though I probably will, not sure yet because I love the way it feels! It's very smooth and shiny and I don't want to ruin that. They also put some kind of clear scratch resistant protectant over the paint so it's less likely get scratched than the original phone without paint. I put it in my pink silicone skin when I use it at the gym or something.

If anyone is considering doing this- I highly suggest it! You will be amazed and love your berry even more if that's possible. It is so professional and pefect, I can't even begin. They are the best company ever! If you go to blackberry forums, there is a girl who got hers purple and it looks awesome too! It's well worth the wait, I would even go 17 days using a regular flip phone if I had to lol. My little cousins just saw my phone and one actually squealed and KISSED my phone haha! She was so cute, she said "Don't ever get another phone!"

Are the BES skins hard to apply? Can you tell that there is one on the berry after you apply it? I'm afraid to do it if it is going to look cheesy...

Have you ever taken your berry apart? I'm afraid to take the faceplate off. I'm afraid I'll ruin something. I don't know how many times I watched the take apart video on YouTube...LOL I'm being anal I guess but I can't help it. I love my bb. I've decided not to do the ColorWare, at least not yet. I have a red Curve and I want to enjoy that for a while. It is a very pretty deep red.

Wow! I just went and found the purple one on bbf and I am almost sold. I am just having issues dropping $100 for a paint job on my $300 phone.

No the BSE are easy to apply and you can tell they are there. No too much though. I have never taken a berry apart.

If I had the red one, I wouldn't colorware, the red is hot! I actually wanted to colorware mine that red but they don't have a color that is similar...

what is that that your curve is sitting on? I like it. Is it some sort of cradle charger?
